Mr. A.M. Jawaamil is the visionary founder behind the Jawaamil Group’s core entities—Jawaamil Associates, JSA Associates, and J & A Management Systems (Pvt) Ltd. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, he has shaped the group’s presence across audit, tax, and business consultancy services for over three decades.
He began his professional journey in 1987 as a Government Accountant and soon established Jawaamil Associates after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. His leadership extended further with the creation of J & A Management Systems in 2001 and JSA Associates in 2008. In 2013, the Group strategically partnered with LM Associates, a distinguished audit firm founded in 1949, where he now serves as Managing Partner.
A Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Mr. Jawaamil holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree. His professional service includes advisory roles within the Commission of Company Law and taxation committees of leading institutes. He is also a committed contributor to internationally affiliated NGOs and social development initiatives.
